Proceeds from the sale of Lonesome Dove photographs benefit the Wittliff Gallery of Southwestern & Mexican Photography
The photographs are available at the following galleries:
Bill Wittliff, writer and executive producer
of the classic CBS television miniseries 
"Lonesome
Dove," took many photographs during the filming of the show.
He has now made some of these stunning images available for purchase
to benefit the Wittliff Gallery of Southwestern & Mexican
Photography at Texas State University-San Marcos.
The photographs are archivally printed and signed by Wittliff.
Several images are available, including magnificent photographs of Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones in their legendary roles as Gus and Call. Texas Monthly magazine featured a story on Wittliff's photographs in its July 1998 issue, and described the images as "landscapes of Texas myth...[that] whisk us back not just to 1988 but to the late 1870s."
