Annual Giving
The impact of an annual, unrestricted gift is as evident as the books on our shelves and the photographs on our walls. Your contribution makes possible:
- The acquisition of new materials
- Educational programs and outreach to students from elementary school to higher education, as well as scholars and reasearchers
- The preservation and processing of our collections for access and research,
- Exhibits and educational materials
- Readings and lectures by acclaimed artists, critics, historians and others in the literary and photographic fields
Your tax deductible gift will not only assist us in meeting today’s challenges and opportunities, but will also ensure a vital future for the Wittliff Collections. Every contribution, whatever the amount--from $10 to $10,000--makes a difference. Click here to make your gift today or contact Beverly Fondren at 512.245.9058 or b.fondren@txstate.edu

Endowment Fund
An endowment gift is an investment in the future. It is an income-generating body that is maintained in perpetuity and underwrites the institution’s operations. Endowment support is critical to our long-term success as it allows the Collections to work today while assuring support in the years to come.
Endowments may be created as an unrestricted fund with income to be utilized for the highest and best use as determined by the Collections’ leadership or designated to benefit a specific program or activity within the Collections such as an acquisition endowment, educational programming, or operating support. Endowments may also be created for specific collections such as the Hispanic Writers Collection, the Texas Music Collection, and, of course, the Southwestern Writers Collection or Southwestern & Mexican Photography Collection. A minimum gift of $10,000 is required to create a new endowment and all endowments must reach the $25,000 level before interest income may be used to support the Collections.
If you wish to discuss an endowed fund, please contact Beverly Fondren 512.245.9058 or b.fondren@txstate.edu
